Just For You Tea Bag Holder
I was inspired by Cheryl L. Owczarek to create this cute Tea Bag Holder. This was so simple!! I will be attending a craft fair this October and I need 3D projects. Something small and cheap just to start getting the word out about Stampin' Up. Hopefully I can start growing business. Well I hope you guys enjoy! I will be adding Tazo Tea for the craft fair, this is all I had in hand.
Supplies
Stamps:Made for You(126342) Patterned Party (123067);
Ink: Summer Starfruit(126991);
Paper: Cardstock in Summer Starfruit(126839), Shara Sand (121043),Raspberry Ripple(126842)
& Very Vanilla (101650); Designer Series Paper in Patio Party (126916);
Accessories: Whisper White 1/4" Stitiched Grosgrain Ribbon (126877), Dimensionals (104430)
Tools: Large Oval Punch (119855) Scallop Oval (119856), Simply Scored (122334),
Sticky Strip (104294),Snail Adhesive (104332)
Instructions:
Card: cut Shara Sand 3.5" x 11". Simply Score at 3.5", 7", and 7.5". Fold at each score line - on the inside, the right-hand fold creates the triangular pocket. Cut off the upper right corner so you have just a triangle folding over. Attach the bottom part of the triangle to the card creating a pocket using Sticky Strip.
Layers: Summer Starfruit cut out 2 squares measuring 3.25"(one for the outside and the other for the inside) , Raspberry Ripple cut a 3" square ( for the inside), Very Vanilla cut a 2 7/8" square (inside), and Patio Party DSP (3" outside, 3" cut in half for inside pocket).
Stamping inside: I stamp in Summer Starfruit ink using the clear stamp from Patterned Party. Work on the Vanilla layer before mounting it - once you are done, attach it inside the card.
Stamping outside: I stamped using the Made for You clear stamp in the same ink on very vanilla punch out using the large oval punch. Now punch out a scallop oval from the Raspberry Ripple cardstock, layer the two cut outs.
Ribbon: cut 20" of Whisper White 1/4" Stitiched Grosgrain Ribbon. Wrap around card and tie in bow. Attach scallop oval with Dimensionals, using one above ribbon and one below ribbon so ribbon still slides freely, but is held in position. You may want to cut the Dimensionals in half.
SIMPLE!!!
